Pop your unit/s back into the padded box it arrived in, and drop it at your nearest FedEx store the day after your event. You can access your included shipping label using your Slipstream dashboard.

PopUp WiFi delivers plug’n’play managed internet appliances, shipped to clients across the USA. All rentals come with unlimited, unthrottled multi-carrier cellular data and custom network name/s and password/s. The clients install the units with live support of our 24/7 team of Peplink-certified nework engineers. Set up is very easy – just stand the unit up on a table or strap to a truss, and plug into standard power. Text a photo of your setup to the 24/7 tech support team to check, then they will remotely optimize and manage the network so it provides the best-possible performance at your location. The networks are monitored in real time by PopUp WiFi engineers, who can make changes on-the-spot to respond to environmental challenges.
Each model combines several internet connections into one solid bonded connection. The Pelican cases contain enterprise-grade Peplink bonding routers that feature SpeedFusion and FusionSIM technology. There are multiple modems and several high-gain 4×4 MIMO antennas that connect to any best-performing 5G and LTE-A networks from Verizon, T-Mobile and AT&T at the same time. Larger units feature additional 5G connections, with ultra high-gain directional antennas for extra speed. Traffic is shared across every link, so if one carrier slows down or drops out, the others keep your event online. If there are any other WAN-sources such as Starlink or a house connection available, clients can connect them to their PopUp WiFi unit. Our engineers can bond the additional connection to the multi-carrier cellular connections free of charge. This results in one consolidated, highly-redundant source of internet for events, production, business and industry.
Bonded cellular internet combines several cellular connections, usually from several different carriers, into a single faster and more resilient connection. PopUp WiFi uses Peplink packet-level bonding, so your traffic is spread across every available 5G and LTE link simultaneously and one weak signal won’t take your event offline.
Speeds depend on the local cellular infrastructure near the venue and other environmental factors. We’ll always give you the best-available speeds at your venue. When you request a quote from PopUp WiFi we’ll ask for the venue address. Our techs will check the Speedtest.net database to understand historic cellular speed test results run on the various cellular carriers, and give you an indication of actual speeds available at your site.
The larger the PopUp WiFi models like the Titan and Beast Mach 3 have ultra high-gain directional antennas and more 5G connections working together, which gives higher speeds. Generally-speaking the more 5G connections and the larger the antennas, the higher the speeds per model. The quad-5G Titan model offers the fastest speeds in the current range, with bonded downloads of up to 500 mbps and uploads of up to 150 mbps in areas with good 5G capacity and cellular signal strength. If there is other WAN available such as Starlink, this can be bonded to the cellular connections for even more total bonded bandwidth. We can also increase speeds by switching bonding off, if speed is more important than reliability. Total throughput can reach up to a Gigabit.
All PopUp WiFi units use a combination of several AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon 5G and LTE-A connections in an combination performing best to ensure that your internet is as robust as can be. If any carrier is performing unreliably at your event, our network engineers will know and they can switch it out seamlessly to a better carrier without disrupting your connection.
Yes, all PopUp WiFi rentals and purchases include access to your own Live Network Insights dashboard called Slipstream. You can access the Slipstream portal by scanning the QR codes on your unit, or by using the link we send you prior to your event. From here, you can monitor network traffic and top bandwidth users, access your network information and return shipping labels, and top up your data if necessary.
PopUp WiFi rentals start at $995 for the Lite for one live day plus a tech-run day, $1,325 for the Workhorse for one live day, $2,150 for the Beast Mach 3 and $2,795 for the Titan, for a single unit for a single day. The longer you rent for, the lower the price. For example, the Workhorse costs $3,078 for seven live days (all-inclusive). Volume discounts of up to 40% off apply for longer rentals and when you rent two or more units. Genuinely unlimited, unthrottled 5G data with NO caps is included free with rentals of up to 14 days (T&Cs apply). Everything is included so there are no overage charges, and no extra charges to add a custom network name (SSID) and password.

The earlier, the better if you want to take advantage of handy offers like free shipping until 30 days before your event, and Early Bird pricing when you order more than 4 months in advance. Of course, this isn’t always possible, so we recommend ordering at least 4 days before your event starts to avoid rush rate shipping (inventory levels permitting). If you need WiFi in a hurry, we can even dispatch by 2 pm Pacific Time on the same day (Monday to Friday) for overnight delivery, or you can collect from our warehouses in Los Angeles or Memphis if you’re nearby and in a hurry. If you are planning an event during September or October, we recommend booking earlier if possible as demand is high.
Yes. PopUp WiFi units are shipped to you two business days before you need it, and you will have access to live support for the whole event. We include a free setup and testing day the day before your live date, or you can set up your unit three+ hours before your event starts on your live date. We ship using FedEx to all US locations and recommend shipping to a FedEx store for collection for lowest-risk delivery, or we can ship to your hotel or business.
