Our US base California is trading now – what a big change from lil’ ol’ Tasmania!
Our award winning Tasmanian start-up has been spreading its wings further and further since we started offering super premium, portable WiFi for events 3 years ago. If you’ve been to Dark Mofo, Falls Festival, the AFL Grand Final or Portsea Polo, you may have seen us around. We deploy our powerful WiFi units at events across Australia and around the globe at places like the Rod Laver Arena, various hotels & universities, a Brazilian stadium packed with 35k+ soccer fans just to name a few.
We’re excited to announce we’ve recently established our first international base in Santa Monica.
We’ve arrived in California to a very warm welcome and clients booking front- and back-of-house WiFi straight away. Our new US base extends our capacity to offer premium portable WiFi to events across the entire West Coast of the USA. So far our clients have been looking for WiFi for live polling, silent auctions, VIP zones and conference WiFi for delegates and presenters.
Linden, our co-founder and network engineering guru, has relocated to the US to head up our new base. Linden is part of the duo who developed the networking smarts inside our very clever purple WiFi units and supports our clients at major events to ensure our WiFi provides the performance that keeps our clients coming back.
So far, Linden has been very enthusiastic about the friendly and professional people in the events sector, the thriving tech culture in Santa Monica and the craft beers (which apparently go well with the vegetarian burritos).
